I like having the opportunity to make a direct impact on graduate student development through recruiting campus liaisons across the globe, crafting newsletters with important information for Division C graduate students, and designing sessions for AERA’s annual meetings specifically targeting graduate students.
My professional network has grown and I've gained self-confidence as a scholar. I learned a great deal about life as a faculty member and how scholars from different fields of educational research approach research.
2010-11 Senior Co-Chair
2010-11 Senior Rep
I love meeting and working with people from around the country, both professors and doctoral students.
These people have become my friends!
I like seeing how AERA works from the inside. I am really proud when I hear how passionate graduate students are about the future of education and research. I also learned to work creatively and effectively with a team that is spread across the United States.
