I wanted to dream’ But there came a man He was tall and lean He seemed quite neat’ He called himself Stan And said he wanted love… Within his eyes’ I could see he was wise He wanted to show me something Said it was important’ Happiness he promised he would bring I ignored my hearts sting Under his wing I buried my loneliness And forget my loveless He caressed me with love and made me feel like a white dove’ Inside his heart I buried myself I held on tight To the hope of finding that pure light A love that’s so selfless That it feels absolutely right Oh I loved every night… But inside that twinkle I saw the devil Like a wild animal The beast let himself go A horror show Rigid and perfect Like a perfect black bow He would soon let me know His hearts intent And my heart bled For I knew it would all come to an end.
