Fighting against the rivers flow Warm despite the cold winds blow Trying hard to take it slow Holding back the words "I love you" Upon the river bends shore Skirting truth around the core Feeling things both felt before It crashed against me "I love you" We both sat side by side Inches above the rising tide absently watching the leaves that glide comforted by eachother's sighs "I love you" Tiptoeing across the cold floor to the corner by the door We kiss eachother even more with breathy voices rasping "I love you" Still when we meet so fast does my heart beat Stumbling over clumsy feet Whispering "I love you"
