Andes Mountains- You can find active Volcanoes in thi s area. These Mountaons were home of some of the most cultural cicvilizaions in the hemisphere, some of them were the Inca in Peru.
Llanos - llanos are grassy, treeless, areas usually used for livestock grazing and farming. This area is sililar to the Great Plains, in the United States. These areas are mostly found in Colombia and Venezuela.
Amazon River-This river slows about 4,000 miles. It's branches strech in the Andes Mountains, located in South America, it's fed by over 1,000 tribularies. This river also carries more water to the Ocean than any other river, in the world.

Parana River- This river has its orgins in the highlands of Southern Brazil. It's about 3,000 miles long. This river is fed by several rivers and then turns westward.
Caribbean Islands- These islands are formed by three major groups are the Bahamas, the Great Antallies, and the lesser Antallies. This area was the first land encountered by Christopher Columbus when he sailed to the Western Hemisphere in 1492.
