Do Conditional Statements Persuade People?
Dairy Queen's slogan is 'Hot Eats, Cool treats'. This slogan persuades a person that their food must be warm and good while their deserts are most likely delicious. Dairy Queen is already known for their excellent ice cream so adding fast food items to the menu makes the ice cream spot even better.
Taco Bell's slogan 'Think outside the bun' is basically telling a person to forget about Burger King, Wendy's and McDonalds. By saying that, a person would think that Taco Bell would be better because it's different from Burger King, McDonalds and Wendy's.
Conditional Statements persuade people into thinking something is better than something else or that it is a fact. For example, when fast food places come up with slogans, their slogans are usually comparing their product to another or saying that you will come in hungry and leave either stuffed or satisfied.
