No Jack-0-Lantern is safe from me after Halloween! I am like my grandmother in a way is that I hate to waste food. After Halloween you wll find me here as you can see cutting up my Jack-o-Lanterns to make puree. I make pie and bread out of it for family and neighbours. I do have to warn you all that if you are going to do it as well there is a lot of pain and joy in the process. I could show blister on hand from all the cutting. Served with lots of love and whip cream pumpkin pie is much more awesome not from a can! A tip I like to say is that you puree it by hand with a potato masher, less pastey taste to it than if you were to do it by blender. Little chucks of pumpking adds fresh flavor too! Bonne Appetit!!
