Sheikh Omar Al-Yafi
His name is Omar Al-Yafi and he is the founder of my family. He was born in 1759 A.D and died in 1818 A.D and he was born in Yafa, Palestine. He lived in Damascus, Syria because he moved there from Yafa, Palestine. He worked in the Umayyad mosque, Damascus as an islamic teacher and held meetings there. He mastered the arts and sciences of Al-Hadith, the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad.
