Shinano river
kanto plains
mount Fuji
The Shinano River is the longest river in Japan. Its waters flow from Nagano prefecture to Niigata prefecture. The Shinano river is 367 km long. The river rises from mount Kobushi on the boarder of Saitama Yamanashi and Nagano. The Shinano River has been known to burst out its banks and floods the basin causing a lot of devastation and destructions. Even though the Shinano river does this it also fertilizes the soil and help Japan in its country developments. I think it would be a very good idea to go to Japan and look at how long and how interesting the Shinano River is.
The Kanto plain is the largest plain in Japan. it is located in the Kanto region of central Honshu. The total area of these plain is 17,000 sq kilometers. The Kanto plains cover up more than half the region extending Tokyo, Saitama prefecture, kanagawa prefecture, Chiba prefecture Ginma prefecture and Tochigi prefecture. a lot of plateaus are formed around these plain. These plateaus are divided into shallow river valleys. Hills on the Kanto plains rise up higher than other plateaus. I think it would be a very good experience for people to go see these magnificent landforms.
